Pay next to nothing, in the coin you prefer, or not at all
Gas rounds to a fraction of a cent, you can pay it in PAX or SID, and apps can sponsor it so users never hold either.
For founders budgeting an agent's running costs, finance leads forecasting spend, and product teams who want a checkout without a gas prompt.
Fees decide what is worth building. At a dollar a transaction, nobody meters an API per call or pays a contractor by the second. At a fraction of a cent, both are obvious. Gas on Paxeer X is a small fraction of a cent, set by governance and fixed for the block you are in, so a hundred thousand calls a day is a line item you can forecast before you ship.
Three ways to pay for gas
What becomes affordable
| With card and invoice fees | On Paxeer X | |
|---|---|---|
| Metering an API per call | Not worth it under card minimums | One payment per call, each with its own receipt |
| Paying a contractor or a model host | Monthly invoice, net-30 | A stream that pays by the second and stops when you say |
| Fee predictability | Spikes when the network is busy | Fixed for the block, set by governance |
| Running your own logic | A server bill | Metered compute at published prices, quoted before the call |
Programs are metered, and quoted first
Running a program costs its metered compute and storage at published prices, on top of the near-zero gas. Before you call, ask for a quote and the network answers with the most it could cost. Set a limit, and the call either completes under it or refuses before it starts. Nobody wakes up to a surprise.
The base fee is fixed for every transaction in a block. If two agents send in the same block, they pay the same rate, whatever else is happening on the network.
